Q: Is there an entrance fee to come shop?
A: Nope.
Q: I’ve never shopped at a consignment sale before. Do you have any tips?
A: 1. Bring something to hold your items while you shop such as a laundry basket with a rope attached for pulling, small rolling clothing rack, large bag, etc.
2. Shop the sizes just above and below what size you think your child is. Some brands run small and others run big. You’ll often find items that fit your child in sizes slightly larger or smaller. Remember you child will continue to grow so if you find a great deal a few sizes bigger, it might still be a good idea to grab it.
3. Leave the kids at home. Kids are always welcome when the sale is open to the public, but you might find you’ll shop much better when you can focus on shopping instead of keeping track of the little ones.
4. Measure your child inseam with a string and bring it with you. This will help you ensure pants are not too short. This works for waist and dress length measurements as well.
5. Make a paper or poster board cut-out of your child’s foot to use when looking for shoes that will fit.
6. Bring your patience. If you are coming during one of the pre-sales or peak times, be prepared to wait a little while to check out.
7. Always come back for 1/2 price day. You’ll love the bargains you find!
Q: How do I get to come to a pre-sale?
A: There are 4 ways you can shop early.
1. Volunteer.
2. Consign.
3. Be a new mom.
4. Barter for early shopping privileges.
Q: Can I bring my children with me when I shop?
A: Children are absolutely welcome during the hours when we are open to the public. Children under 8 are not allowed during any of the pre-sales with the exception of little babies in slings/wraps. Babies in strollers are not permitted.
Q: Is everything half price on half price day?
A: Any item that says “No Discount” on the tag is not half price on the final day. All other items are half price.
